2016 Land Rover Discovery Sport Design
The new model looks larger than the LR2. It is actually longer and wider, but a little bit lower. It is also quite similar to some Range Rover models, such as Evoque and RR Sport. It will replace the Land Rover LR2 when it go on sale. The 2016 Land Rover Discovery Sport doesn’t have any sharp edges, the whole body is sculpted and rounded, making it more modern. On the front there is a small mesh grille. The headlights feature HID lighting with round LED daylight running lamps.
On the back, there are also some similarly-designed taillights. There is a small roof-mounted spoiler above the tailgate, and the rear bumper comes with two exhaust tips below it. The new Discovery Sport will be available in a total of nine different colors and customers will be able to choose between five wheel designs (up to 20-inch in size).
The Land Rover Discovery Sport 2016 is very spacious. It has a third row of seats in a 5+2 seat configuration. Although, those back seats are smaller, meaning that only small children can sit there. Some of the interior features worth mentioning are the cup holders, climate control, mood lighting, 5-inch TFT screen between gauges, 8-inch touchscreen display, infotainment system with InControl apps, GPS navigation, Meridian sound system, internet radio, airbags, panoramic sunroof, etc.
