Sharp eye of the photographer managed to take some spy photos of the upcoming 2016 Cadillac LTS sedan. We knew that the manufacturer has some plans to produce a rear-drive flagship sedan, and now we know how it might look like.
Design of 2016 Cadillac LTS
The sedan was covered with a lot of camouflage, so it is difficult to talk about details. However, we can get an idea regarding the shape and dimensions of the new 2016 Cadillac LTS model, or whatever it will be called.
We can notice LED headlights and taillights, almost visible multi-bar front grille, and longer hood. Also visible are slightly raked windshield and rear glass, shorter trunk area, and dual exhaust tips in the lower right corner on the rear of the car.
Unfortunately, we don’t have any photos of the interior, but viewed from the outside, it looks like there’s going to be a lot of cabin space. Especially in the back. Which is good.
Possible Choice of Engines
Of course, there are no official details regarding the drivetrain of the upcoming 2016 Cadillac LTS flagship sedan. However, lets see what could be offered.
General Motors could offer the choice of a 3.6-liter twin-turbocharged V-6 engine as a standard. The car might also be powered by an either 5.3-liter or 6.2-liter V-8 direct injection engine with Active Fuel Management. All those powertrains could be mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Although all sources claim that the car will have rear-wheel drive, it is also possible that there will be offered a version with all-wheel drive.
2016 Cadillac LTS Release Date
No official date has been announced, but we can expect to see this model in retail stores by the end of 2015, or maybe even in 2016.
