The 2015 Vauxhall Corsa is a British-made hatchback based on the popular Opel Corsa. The 4th generation model with new features will go on sale in January 2015. Here are the latest details on this supermini.

Model of the 4th generation is not significantly changed compared to the previous model. There are only small differences, and those are the revised body panels, new front grille and changed headlights with LED daytime running lamps. The car comes in two variants, with three and five doors.

The 2015 Vauxhall Corsa is now more stylish and more aerodynamic, and all of its design elements perfectly fits its dynamic and sculpted shape. However, the rear end of the car did not received major changes, but it certainly fits nicely with changed front end and the rest of the hatchback.

The cabin of the 2015 Vauxhall Corsa offers a very good quality and a lot of space for passengers in both variants. Of course, the three-door version offers slightly more space. In the trunk, there is about 285 liters of space for your tools, luggage and other stuff.

Passengers will enjoy riding this compact hatchback, because it comes with a host of premium features, comfortable and heated seats, climate control, infotainment system, full-size panoramic sunroof, and soft-tone ambient lighting.

The dashboard features a 7-inch color display that can be controlled via touch commands or via the steering wheel. The instrument panel is also new. You can connect your smartphone and other compatible devices with Corsa’s in-car software – IntelliLink. This software supports various apps, including voice control, internet radio, GPS navigation, multimedia, sync, etc.


2015 Vauxhall Corsa Engine and Performance

The base engine for the 2015 Vauxhall Corsa will be a 1.2L gasoline unit delivering 69 horsepower. A 1.3L CDTi engine will be able to generate between 74 hp and 94 hp. A non-turbo 1.4-liter engine will be producing 89 horses, while the same engine in turbo variant will offer 99 horsepower.

The newest addition to this lineup are two turbo 1.0-liter 3-cyl ECOTEC engines with direct fuel injection, being able to produce 89 or 113 horsepower, respectively, and 125 lb-ft of torque. Both units will be paired to a manual 6-speed gearbox as a standard, or an optional automatic transmission.


New Corsa 2015 Release Date and Price

As for the release date, the new 2015 Vauxhall Corsa is expected to hit the retail stores in early 2015, most likely in January. Prices will be announced in September. We could expect a price tag of about £9,000 and £10,000 for the three-door and five-door models, respectively. That’s approximately around $15,000 and $17,100 for these two variants.
