The 2015 Toyota Yaris DUB Edition is a revised hatchback, set to make a debut at the 2014 SEMA Auto Show. It received cool exterior and interior updates. Keep reading to learn more details.
2015 Toyota Yaris DUB Edition Design
This new makeover is quite appealing, it makes the car look more attractive and aggressive compared to the production model. The body was designed by guys over at DUB Magazine and TS Designs. The 2015 Toyota Yaris DUB Edition rides on the 20-inch 10-spoke gloss-black Dropstar wheels wrapped in Nitto Invo tires. Behind the wheels you can notice a Big Brake kit from Toyota’s Racing Development (TRD).
As you can notice in the photos, the hatchback is painted in two colors, gloss-black on the back and matte-pearl white on the rest of the body. Overall, the car is now wider and lower, thanks to the modified suspension system and wide fenders. Other noticeable changes include smoked taillights and tinted windows.
The interior features the all-new Sparco racing bucket seats and decorative components made of carbon fiber, suede and leather. The red racing harnesses are attached to the pearl-white roll bar. This hatchback offers premium audio system with three amplifiers and four Jensen speakers. The system can be controlled via the integrated iPad found in the trunk.
Engine and Performance
As for the powering options, the new model did not received any significant updates of its powertrain. The 2015 Toyota Yaris DUB Edition is powered by a 1.5L inline-4 engine paired to a 5-speed manual gearbox and producing 106 horses and 103 lb-ft of torque. The top speed is estimated at 120 miles per hour, while it can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about 11.5 seconds.
Release Date and Price
The 2015 Toyota Yaris DUB Edition will be introduced at the 2014 SEMA Auto Show in Las Vegas that will take place from November 4 – 7. I am not sure if this tuned up model will be available for sale. However, if it does go on sale, its price will surely be much higher compared to the base model, which starts at $14,845.
Here are three additional photos of the DUB Edition model. Two are showing the car’s profile and front end, while in the third you can see its trunk with integrated audio and entertainment systems.
