The 2015 Infiniti Q70 received just a minor refresh to its design and technology updates. Engine options remain the same as before. It goes on sale this September.
New Infiniti Q70 Exterior Design
The 2015 Infiniti Q70 sedan features a pair of new LED headlights on the front, looking like angry eyes, making the car look mean and aggressive. The double-arch front grille and front bumper were revised as well. The manufacturer added new fog lights to the bumper.
On the back, the headlights were also replaced with a new LED lighting, and there is a revised rear bumper with a pair of exhaust tips. Trunk lid has been flattened and comes with some chrome accents. Actually, the chrome details can be found all around the exterior of this beautiful vehicle.
Viewed from the side, the Q70 really looks elegant. The roof is slightly curved and gracefully leans down from the windshield to the taillights. It rides on the 20-inch five-spoke alloy wheels.
Interior Styling and Technology
Inside, the 2015 Infiniti Q70 looks highly luxurious and modern. There are leather seats with fancy stitching, and wood trims can be found all around the cabin. The rear seats are also heated, not just the front seats (which, btw, can be adjusted in 10 ways). There is enough legroom in the base model, however offered will be the new long wheelbase model which increases the space even more.
The infotainment system, steering wheel and all the easily-accessible commands are driver-focused. There is a 7-inch color display that will show all the important information. It can also be used for navigation maps and activation of music player. Bose Studio Surround audio system consists of 5.1-channel 16 speakers. The instrument cluster features Fine Vision gauges.
Engine and Performance
For the 2015 model year, all previous engines will return. That means that the 2015 Infiniti Q70 will be powered by the same engine lineup as before. First, there is a 3.7-liter V-6 engine developing 330 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. Then, a 5.6-liter V-8 engine can produce up to 420 horsepower and 417 lb-ft of torque.
Hybrid variant with a 3.5L powertrain will be able to deliver 302 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. The Q70L model with a 3.7L V6 has exactly the same figures as the base model, while the Q70L with a 5.6L V8 has slightly less power – 416 horses and 414 pound-feet of twist.
All power units will be paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission, transferring all the power to either rear wheels or all four wheels.
