The 2015 Honda Vezel Hybrid will make its debut at the Paris Motor Show. It will be available in the U.S. and Europe in late 2014 under the name Honda HR-V. This modern vehicle is an exemplary futuristic approach by Honda to strategically use style, comfort, performance and aggression to come up with eye candy vehicles that can outdo older SUV models on the road, but still maintain all the features of the classic SUV’s. Thinking of getting a new car soon? Here’s a glance of what you can expect from what is believed to be an excellent choice of successor to the Honda Fit.
2015 Honda Vezel Hybrid Design
Perhaps the most striking thing about the 2015 Honda Vezel Hybrid is its outward appearance. This car is tastefully designed to suit people from all walks of life. Because of its sporty features, it can appeal to people of younger ages while still successfully wooing the older generation thanks to its ability to be ridiculously comfortable and easy to navigate. A closer look reveals its size to be a hybrid between Honda CR-V and the Honda Fit with an estimate of 7 inches in length and a slightly elevated sitting position. It also boasts of high headlights which are set on a compact front cover. Fog lights have been cleverly set lower, which gives it that sporty look.
The phantom locks on the car’s five doors are an excellent show of craftsmanship, not to mention its aerodynamic windows, tailgate and roof spoiler. The exhaust system is set on the car’s left side.
The interior and seats of the 2015 Honda Vezel Hybrid are all made of high quality fabric. The steering wheel is an unconventional three spoke. Though details haven’t been given about most of the interior features, it is safe to say that one can expect a high quality sound system, a center console, parking sensors and additional safety equipment. Designers have used the Fit model as an inspiration for this HR-V’s interior styling.
Hybrid Engine, Specs, Performance
Car enthusiasts can expect a high performance vehicle with phenomenal fuel consumption. The engine of the 2015 Honda Vezel Hybrid is expected to be a 1.5 liter 4-cylinder engine with direct injection, paired with a CVT gearbox. Power will be transferred to the front wheels. Perhaps the most inviting thing about this car is that it belongs to the class that has been made with the aim of creating more resourceful engines by way of fuel consumption. Enthusiast can expect a direct injection and the new i-DCD hybrid system. Honda has however not yet released specifics of under the hood engineering. That certainly makes the car one to look forward to.
2015 Honda HR-V Release Date, Price
Judging by the number of displays, the 2015 Honda Vezel Hybrid should be released by the end of this year in Japan and available in the United States by 2015. Price is still unknown. My guess is that the starting price of the new HR-V Hybrid in the U.S. will be about $20,000.
