The 2015 Honda Fit Tjin Edition is a customized vehicle designed by Neil Tjin’s team and built by Unique Fabrication for this year’s SEMA Auto Show in Las Vegas.
2015 Honda Fit Tjin Edition Design
L&R Auto Body painted the car’s all-metal body in this custom green Axalta paint. The 2015 Honda Fit Tjin Edition now has a wider body, thanks to the wide front bumper and Josh Freeman’s massive metal fender flares. The Coplus headlights surrounded by LED configuration and fog lights are making the car look more aggressive and futuristic. The hatch rides on the custom 18-inch 5-spoke iForged wheels wrapped in Falken tires, while the suspension system has been provided by AirREX USA.
Interior Styling Changes
Unfortunately, there are no photos of the car’s interior, so I can’t show you how it looks. Well, the cabin of the 2015 Honda Fit Tjin Edition is redesigned by Katzkin team, who used their custom upholstery leather and trims, making it more sporty. SoCal Elite Sports provided additional 94Fifty sporting equipment, while the car’s sunroof is made by Webasto. This compact hatch also comes with the all-new stereo audio and entertainment system by Sony.
Below, you can see a photo of the 2009 model, which was also redesigned by Tjin Edition. The cabin of the new model looks much, much better than this.
Engine and Performance
I know that engine and exhaust system of the 2015 Honda Fit Tjin Edition received some Bisimoto upgrade parts, but no details were given on the car’s performance. The base production model is powered by a 1.5L I-4 DOHC engine that delivers 130 hp and 114 lb-ft of torque. It’s paired with either 6-speed manual or CVT gearbox. I hope that the model presented here will get at least a minor boost of its performance.
The 2015 Honda Fit Tjin Edition will be presented at the 2014 SEMA Show which takes place November 4-7 in Las Vegas. If you want to see it, make sure you visit Honda North America booth.
