Ford has announced plans to introduce three customized versions of the 2015 Ford Expedition at the 2014 SEMA Show – Vaccar, Tjin Edition, and DUB Edition. Let’s see what each of them has to offer.
2015 Vaccar Expedition XLT
The 2015 Ford Expedition XLT by Vaccar is a model intended for harsher operating conditions and driving on dirt roads, showcasing its off-road capabilities. It is characterized by dual-color matte gray body, and rides on a set of 20-inch Mamba Off-Road wheels wrapped in General Tire Grabber AT2 tires. As its name suggests, it has been designed by Aaron Vaccar.
This SUV is powered by a 3.5L EcoBoost V-6 engine producing 365 horsepower. The aftermarket specialist promises that the interior of this model is very comfortable, it has the velvet seats with Ultra-Suede silver upholstery. Other exterior features include grille guardian on the front and hitch stop on the back, swivel hooks, cargo basket on the roof, and spring steps on both sides.
2015 Ford Expedition DUB Edition
The following model is the 2015 Ford Expedition by DUB Magazine, which was designed to highlight the style and sophistication. It is specific by its integrated system for radar detection. Other features include tinted windows, revised front grille with mesh accents, new headlights and taillights, custom badging, and 26-inch Dropstars concave wheels wrapped in Pirelli tires.
The DUB Edition model comes with new comfortable seats, upgraded infotainment and audio systems, monitors on the back, remotely-controlled LED lights, extended center console, places for portable devices and headphones, and motorized hidden boxes, while the kids will enjoy in video games and internet access.
This model is also powered by a 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 unit. However, it received an upgraded Borla Performance exhaust system and McGaughy’s suspension lift kits and brakes, for improved performance.

2015 Ford Expedition Tjin Edition
Lastly, the customized 2015 Ford Expedition by Tjin Edition features a dark gray exterior with specially modified bumpers, metal fender flares, orange 24-inch Rotiform alloy wheels with Falken tires, twin Webasto sunroofs, brand-new liftgate, while the front and rear lights were provided by LightWurkz. There are no details on the interior modifications.
The aftermarket tuning company also upgraded the SUV’s 3.5L EcoBoost V-6 engine. With the help of Vortech Engineering cooler kit, MagnaFlow exhaust system, air management system by Accuair, and custom tuning, it can deliver a total of 405 horsepower.
All three customized 2015 Ford Expedition models will be showcased at the 2014 SEMA Auto Show this week in Las Vegas.
