The 2015 Dodge Charger SRT has been spotted on the streets wrapped in a camouflage. Here are some spy photos and the latest details on the upcoming model.
2015 Dodge Charger SRT Exterior Look
The upcoming 2015 Dodge Charger SRT will be based on the redesigned sedan model (photo below).
You can see the spy shots in the photo gallery below. The SRT trim level will feature even more exterior design changes, but it will still be characterized by its distinctive styling. The car is covered in camouflage, but we can notice that it will have a larger front spoiler, deeper air dam, ducted hood, LED headlights with daylight running lamps, LED taillights, and wider intakes. On the back, you can see the dual exhaust tips. The prototype model captured in the spy photos rides on large wheels.
Below, you can see the current 2014 model.
It is hard to tell anything about the car’s interior, because we can’t anything from the spy shots posted below. It will probably have some minor changes compared to the previous model. However, I expect to see some technology upgrades, such as the new 8.4-inch touch display positioned in the center area of the dashboard, 7-inch digital instrument cluster, Android Auto infotainment system, Uconnect, road assistant, WiFi hotspot, GPS navigation, etc.
2015 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat Engine
According to recent reports, the 2015 Dodge Charger SRT will be powered by a 6.2l HEMI Hellcat supercharged engine that can be found in the new Challenger SRT Hellcat model. This power unit will be able to boast 707 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. However, it is also possible to come with a less powerful 6.4l unit producing the power of 485 hp and torque of 475 lb-ft.
