Chrysler and Mopar teamed up to create the new 2015 Dodge Challenger T/A Concept model that will be presented at the 2014 SEMA Auto Show in Las Vegas. I’m sure most of muscle car enthusiasts will love this new model.

front view

This concept model is characterized by its classic look. It is mostly painted in light green, while the hood, part of the roof, front splitter, rear decklid spoiler, lower rear fascia, and 20-inch forged aluminum wheels (wrapped in Pirelli P Zero Trofeo R tires) are painted in matte black. There’s also a black strip stretching above the front fenders and across the doors. Mopar provided the hood of the 2015 Dodge Challenger T/A Concept which comes with a large center scoop. The outboard headlights remain unchanged, while the inboard lights have been replaced by the Air Catcher intake tubes for better air flow. Side and rear exhaust pipes are coated in black ceramic finish.

rear view

Inside, the 2015 Dodge Challenger T/A Concept is equipped with the carbon-fiber racing seats wrapped in leather and high-grip cloth. The rear seats have been removed completely. A rear harness bar with safety harnesses has been added for improved safety of both passengers. Behind the leather steering wheel is a instrument panel with speedometer that has white gauges and metallic rings. The matte-black hues prevail in the cabin.

Engine and Performance

The 2015 Dodge Challenger T/A Concept is powered by a 6.4L 392 HEMI V-8 petrol engine, sending more than stock 485 horses and 475 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual gearbox. Estimated 0-60 mph time is rated at less than 4.5 seconds, while the car’s top speed should be around 182 miles per hour. Performance should be further boosted with the exhaust system provided by Mopar, while the engine is cooled with Mopar’s brand-new air intake system.

Release Date

Visitors of the 2014 SEMA Auto Show, which takes place from November 4 to 7 in Las Vegas, will be able to see the 2015 Dodge Challenger T/A Concept in person. There is now word whether this muscle car will offered as a production model. However, there is a high probability that it will be offered as an optional body package.
