Exterior and Interior Design

The most discernible change that departs the 2015 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint from a regular model is around back, where another guard consolidating a diffuser-like smock with four blades, replaces the standard piece. The front grille and the fog lights are also new, but the rest of the front end is quite similar to the rest of the regular model. Also worth mentioning are the tinted back windows, which look quite cool. The Sprint rides on a set of 17-inch alloy wheels as standard, but buyers can optionally choose a little bit larger set of 18-inch alloys, that come with the same configuration.

Cabin of the 2015 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint is basically same as the one inside the regular car, with additional standard components and a dark sport trim. The dark inside style, proceeds with dark rooftop covering and unique floor mats. The reinforced seats are wrapped in fabric and Alcantara, with red contrast stitching, while the headrests accompany red lettering. A leather steering wheel with red sewing is additionally included, while the dashboard and entryway boards have a carbon-shaded completion. At the center of the dashboard you can find the Uconnect infotainment system with either a 5- or 6.5-inch touchscreen (depending on customer’s choice). The car also has back parking sensors and cruise control. The options incorporate a GPS navigation with 3D superior perspective maps, dynamic course direction and option for entering the obliged destination using your voice.

Engine, Specs, Performance, MPG

The 2015 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint is powered by a new turbocharged 1.4L MultiAir engine with four cylinders that has a capability of delivering up to 148 horsepower. When paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox that transfers its power to the front wheels it can reach the maximum speed of 130 miles per hour, which is about 210 km/h, emitting only 131 g/km of CO2. The convertible can reach the speed of 62 mph, or 100 km/h, in a little bit over 8 seconds. When it comes to he fuel economy, the Sprint consumes about 5.6 liters of fuel per 100 km, which is about 49.6 mpg by European standards, or 42 mpg on average by the U.S. ratings.

This is not the only choice, however. A 1.4L inline-4 LPG delivers 120 horsepower and 215 Nm of torque, this one is good for minimum running costs. There is also another variant of a 1.4L MultiAir I-4 engine, but this one is paired with a dual-clutch semi-automatic transmission and produces 170 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque. Diesel variants include a 1.6L JTDM unit that generates 105 hp 320 Nm of twist, and a 2.0L JTDM-2 diesel engine that can provide either 150 hp and 380 Nm, or 175 hp and 350 Nm. These come with a choice of 6-speed manual or twin-clutch gearboxes.

2015 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint Price

The 2015 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Sprint is available in Europe since this Spring, but I believe it won’t go on sale in the United States. As far as the pricing is concerned, in the United Kingdom this sports hatchback comes with a price of £20,490, which is about $32,400 at the current rates. It has a similar price tag in the rest of Europe.
