Seat presented the 2014 Seat Mii by Mango designed for ladies, made in collaboration with the Spanish fashion company Mango. It was unveiled at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show.
Seat is already popular car brand among women, and the manufacturer hopes that this model will boost sales of their vehicles. Let’s say something about it.
Design of 2014 Seat Mii by Mango
This small car resembles the both Skoda Citigo and Volkswagen Up!, but here the Spanish clothing retailer intervened to make the new Mii more appealing to ladies. It rides on the 15-inch dark grey alloy wheels.
In front, there is a small front grille with the manufacturer’s emblem. On its both sides there are very attractive diamond headlights. On the bumper there is a lower grille, which is slightly larger than the upper one, and two small round fog lights.
The back of the car is flat, and the tailgate takes up almost the entire back area. The taillights and stop lights are also very attractive, and of course, on the tailgate you can find the Mango signature badge.
The new 2014 Seat Mii by Mango comes in two versions, so you can choose the version that suits your taste better. There is a Glam Beige version, which is more appealing to me, and a Deep Black version, which looks more bold. It is also available in the both 3- and 5-door variants.
Inside, the interior is very attractive. The steering wheel, gear shifter and front seats are trimmed in Alcantara leather. The inevitable logo is sewn on the headrests, and also can be found on the doorsteps.
There are also personalized car mats, door sills, as well as pendant for contact key. One interesting detail is a hook on the glove compartment, where ladies can hang their purse or shopping bag, for example.
The 2014 Seat Mii by Mango is not abundant in advanced technologies, but offers a fairly rich equipment. This include air conditioning, Portable System Live, hill start assistant, remote central locking, power windows in the front, heated mirrors, front and side airbags, passenger airbag deactivation, CD and MP3 player, Aux-in radio, 12V socket in the center console, ABS, a small display positioned above the A/C controls, etc.
The car may be small, but there is enough room for up to four girls and their stuff. The back seats can be folded down to increase the storage space.
Engine and Performance
The 2014 Seat Mii by Mango is powered by a small 1.0-liter three-cylinder gasoline engine that can produce 60 horsepower. This car is in a very small consumer, it is EPA rated at 62 mpg in the city.
Despite the relatively low power of the engine, in real conditions this model provides more than adequate performance. But as we know, women are not too demanding, so this car will suit them perfectly.
2014 Seat Mii Release Date and Price
The manufacturer claims that the new 2014 Seat Mii by Mango will go on sale soon, probably this summer. Price has not been announced yet, but it should not prevent you to already set aside a certain amount of money and make your lady happy. :-)
