Audi presented the new 2014 Audi TT Quattro Sport Concept at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show. It features aggressive exterior, redesigned interior and improved performance. Keep reading to learn more details about this sports vehicle.

2014 Audi TT Design

2014 Audi TT Quattro Sport Concept

Designers have used the lightweight materials when constructing the 2014 Audi TT Quattro Sport Concept and it features a streamlined shape. The total weight of this model is about 2,960 pounds.

As with the 2016 model, you will notice that the Audi emblem is positioned above the front grille, on the hood. The hexagonal honeycomb grille is quite large. There are also two large honeycomb air intakes above the front splitter. The Matrix LED headlights only contribute to the appearance of the already aggressive look of the front end.

At the rear, there is a big winged spoiler, with TT logo on both sides. It, along with the wide diffuser and two large exhaust pipes, points out racing character of this model. It has the same LED taillights as a 2016 model, below which are small air outlets.

The 2014 Audi TT Quattro Sport Concept rides on big 20-inch alloy wheels with the interestingly-designed rims.

New Interior Styling

The interior of the 2014 Audi TT Quattro Sport Concept is almost identical to the interior of the new 2016 Audi TT, with a few modifications, of course. Given that this model is intended for race tracks, it was necessary to remove some of the equipment in order to reduce the overall weight of the vehicle. The designers wanted to retain only the essentials.

As you can see in the photo below, the steering wheel has a couple of extra buttons, including the push button start. There is still a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, while the controls on the center console are removed. You may not see in the picture, but the leather seats are replaced by the low-set racing seats. There are only front seats. The trunk is also reduced in order to decrease weight, it is designed so that you can keep in racing helmets.

Audi TT Engine and Performance

Under the hood of the 2014 Audi TT Quattro Sport Concept is a 2-liter inline-4 TFSI engine that can transfer its 420 horsepower and 331 pound-feet of torque to all four wheels via a dual-clutch S Tronic transmission.

The AWD model can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.7 seconds. The manufacturer did not reveal the maximum speed, but considering that this concept is more powerful than the upcoming 2016 model, with a maximum speed of 155 mph, it is very possible that the Quattro model will have greater top speed.

2014 Audi TT Quattro Sport Concept Release Date

I don’t know if this sports model will ever go into production. It is just concept and shows some good ideas that Audi has. It would be good if the manufacturer introduce some of these ideas in the new 2016 Audi TT and TTS models.
